The Fifth Function (formerly Behavior Support Staff Network)
ESC Region 13
4.00 CPE Credits
$25.00

When you’ve mastered the four, this is where the real work begins.

For seasoned behavior professionals ready to challenge norms, elevate safety, and rethink behavior frameworks.

The Fifth Function is not another FBA refresher. It's a high-level, peer-driven program designed for behavior professionals who already know the foundational tools—and are ready to dig deeper. This immersive experience focuses on what comes after the plans are written: ensuring safety, questioning assumptions, and cultivating innovative, individualized solutions in complex environments.

Participants will engage in:

  • Safety-first thinking: proactive strategies and ethical decision-making in high-stakes situations
  • A collaborative think tank: peer-led discussions that challenge conventional approaches
  • Opportunities to push beyond group-think and foster creative, data-informed problem solving
  • Real-world case analysis and guided conversations that question the “why” behind the “what”
  • A supportive yet challenging space for critical reflection, strategy building, and bold conversations

This is for professionals who want to be sharpened by their peers, invigorated by new ideas, and empowered to lead change in a field that is always evolving.
