Balancing the Equation: Experiencing Homelessness Does Not Equal Hopelessness is an introduction to the challenges facing students without homes and the solutions available to school staff, in order to remove barriers for students experiencing homelessness.

This three-hour-long class is recommended for school staff who might come in contact with homeless students and want to know how to assist students experiencing homelessness in school settings. The information is applicable for teachers, counselors, school administrators, registrars, nurses, school nutrition personnel, bus drivers, or any school staff member.
