The Effective Schools Framework (ESF) & Blended Learning for Classroom Educators
6.00 CPE Credits
This experience is designed to explore blended and personalized learning pedagogy through the lens of the Effective Schools Framework. By the end of the course, participants will have a stronger sense of how the ESF and blended learning pedagogy work together toward stronger student success in the classroom.
Beyond the autonomous learning experiences the course offers to individual participants, a comprehensive Community Learning Course Companion Guide is embedded in the course as an option for groups of educators who want to deepen and connect their understanding.
During this course experience, learners will:
- Explore structures and routines for building classroom and family relationships as well as managing student agency
- Consider how using asset-based language, engaging instructional strategies, and effective formative assessment practices leads to student success
- Examine how blended learning models and increased student agency lead to more rigorous instruction
For participants who are interested, there is an option to submit a classroom artifact to receive a badge that can be shared on your social network profiles, resumé, or email signature. This is an optional task and is not necessary for participants to receive a completion certificate.
