Welcome! The main objective of this course is to provide detailed information related to forming your Site Based Decision Making committees.

Site Based Decision Making committees are not only instrumental in developing your Campus and District Improvement plans, but are also mandated by Texas Education Code. 

Leading the formation of one of these committees can be complicated.

We developed a free Canvas course that breaks down legal aspects, provides multiple considerations, and guides you through the process all in one place.

Included in the course is a spreadsheet to help you easily track your members, how they are selected or nominated, as well as their roles, and length of membership.
