This is the ninth course in a series of 10, 60-90 minute online courses. After completing the Autism Assessment Toolkit Part 9: Identifying Females with ASD, the participant will be able to discuss:
- The “gender gap” in the identification of ASD between boys and girls and its implications
- Strategies to increase awareness and improved identification of females with ASD
- Some of the ways females may “mask” and “camouflage” their behavior
- Strategies and solutions for identifying females with autism
