This self-paced course will provide a clear understanding of the Restorative Practices philosophy. You will learn the essential elements of the restorative approach and watch examples of several types of circles. We will discuss the components that should be implemented in the classroom and office to establish a school-wide approach to support all of your students and staff in creating a positive and supportive learning community.   Restorative practice is a practical approach for educators interested in implementing a behavioral process that proactively builds positive school communities while dramatically reducing discipline referrals, suspensions, and expulsions.
