Using the Depth and Complexity Framework
This self-directed online course meets the requirement for a six hour update for teachers who serve gifted and talented students.
Sandra Kaplan's Depth and Complexity framework was created through her research into the elements of thought which distinguish experts in a field of study from others in the field with general knowledge. This framework can be applied to advanced and gifted students to ensure that they are learning topics in the same way that an expert understands topics.
The main objectives of this course include:
